Timothy de Waal Malefyt, Ph.D.

 

Timothy de Waal Malefyt has a PhD in Anthropology and is interested in Sensory Marketing, Brand Rituals and Advertising's influence on co-creation of brands. He worked in advertising for over 15 years, leading an ethnographic insight group for clients at BBDO worldwide advertising, and for Cadillac at D'Arcy Masius Benton and Bowles in Detroit. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Marketing at Fordham School of Business, Fordham University, New York City.
